What are the benefits of a sleep massage?
We designed this massage for times when sleep is in short supply, whether that's from jet lag or insomnia. Gentle pressure and flowing strokes work to calm anxious minds and let worn out bodies rest.
What to expect from a sleep massage
Your mobile massage therapist will arrive with everything needed for your sleep treatment, including the massage table. You'll just need to provide some towels and clear space in your home or hotel room.
They'll perform a full-body massage using smooth, flowing strokes and gentle pressure. Unwind further with the scent of essential oils like lavender and clary sage, carefully selected to promote sleep.
Top tip: book at bedtime
Urban's open daily from 7am-11pm. We recommend booking your sleep massage just before bed to make it easier to drift off.

The beauty of a home massage is you can choose the music you find most relaxing. Popular choices for sound massage music include sounds of nature (like waves, birdsong or rain), classical piano and soft indie music like Bon Iver.
If you're not sure what you'd like to listen to, you can ask your therapist to play some music for you (message them via the Urban app beforehand to check they will bring a speaker).
A sleep massage can help you fall asleep more easily by reducing stress and activating your parasympathetic nervous system.
It should be noted that if you're struggling with ongoing insomnia, we recommend consulting your GP.
No, it's completely fine and quite common. Falling asleep on the massage table is a sign you're comfortable and relaxed so it won't offend or surprise your massage therapist.
That said, you can let your therapist know if you'd like them to gently wake you if they notice you sleeping.
Don't book if:
Your pregnant - only specially trained and insured therapists can work with pregnant clients, so try our pregnancy massage instead
You're sick with flu or cold symptoms
You've got a contagious illness
If you have a medical condition and are unsure whether to book an appointment, consult your doctor first.
Your therapist reserves the right to stop or withhold treatment if they think it will put them or you at risk.
