Founded in 2014, by Jack Tang & Giles Williams, the idea was simple; an online service for booking convenient at-home wellness treatment which offered better pay for therapists.

Today, we now connect over 4,000 mobile wellness and beauty professionals with clients in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Paris. And now we're launching in Edinburgh and Glasgow, too!

You're in control of where and when you work, all made easy via the Urban Hero app.

Using the diary feature, you simply tap dates and times when you're happy for clients to book you.

When you add hours on the app, you’re committing to being free to take bookings then. That means if you get booked, you won't have the choice to accept or decline the booking. But don't worry, if you can no longer make it, you can cancel it for free unless it's short notice (learn more about our cancellation policy here).

On average, Urban pros take home 64-70% of the treatment price, with higher earners receiving upwards of £6k per month after adding 40 hours a week in availability.

Rates vary by treatment duration, time of day/week and by city.

In Edinburgh and Glasgow you can earn between £37-42 an hour for a 60-minute treatment. You'll also get to keep 100% of tips made through the app, which are added to your payment.

Yes, clients choose their treatment and their pro, with individual bios, ratings and reviews to help guide them.

They can book using the Urban app or website and will see your profile if you’ve added hours for the time they’d like to book.

Yes! We'll share graphics with you that you can post on your social media accounts to let your followers know you've joined.

You can chat to clients via the app (without sharing your private details). Once you’ve received a booking, you can contact the client directly via instant messaging, or call via the Hero app within two hours of the appointment. Your phone number will be hidden.

Your safety is our top priority. We have a strict 'know the line' policy which takes breaches of our code of conduct incredibly seriously.
