What’s worse than that “massage finished” feeling? You’ve finally started to relax, your muscles are just beginning to loosen up and then... it's all over.
We spoke to our lead therapist Nadège to understand why sometimes a 90-minute massage is the best choice: “With 90 minutes massage, your therapist has more time to focus and target the affected areas, which leave enough time to massage the other parts of the body. This is necessary for an efficient and effective treatment.”
Five of our massages really benefit from an extra half-hour. Read on to discover which ones they are, and why 90 minutes trumps 60:

Urban classic massage
Stressed out? Run down? Sounds like you need an Urban classic. But, if you’re feeling the pressure more than usual, a 90-minute massage will make the world of difference. Not only will you get enough time to settle your thoughts and clear your mind, your therapist will be able to really give your muscles and mind the chance to relax and reboot.

Deep tissue massage
The clue is in the name. Deep tissue massage needs to go...deep. And, if you’re particularly tense, it can take time to reach these overworked muscles, which is why we’d always advise booking a 90 minute treatment.

Sports massage
A sports massage is all about helping you perform at your best. That’s why, when you book a treatment with us, your therapist will take the time to get to understand your body, your goals, and any barriers to success you might be facing. The treatment will start and finish with a consultation which is why 90 minutes makes all the difference.

Relaxing massage
If you’ve booked our relaxing massage, it’s likely your brain and body are under pressure, When you’ve got a million things running through your mind, it’s sometimes hard to silence those thoughts, zone out, and really feel more mindful.
So, if you want to make the most of your massage, consider booking a 90 minute massage. Around the 60 minute mark, your muscles really start to release, so those extra 30 minutes really do pay off in the long run.

Energising massage
Feeling sluggish and out-of-sorts? Then it’s probably time to book an energising massage. This treatment uses multiple massage techniques, paired with hand-picked essential oils to awaken your senses and boost energy levels. So, if you feel like you’re running on empty, try booking a 90-minute treatment to help get you back on top form!
If it’s the first time you have ever had a massage, you might prefer to test the waters with a 60-minute treatment. This is perfectly fine, and you will still feel fantastic afterwards. However, if you’re not new to massage, you should give a 90-minute treatment a go. We’re sure you will feel the added benefit the extra half an hour gives you.
