What’s new around here

Less admin, faster payments

We’ve removed the friction from bookings, consultation forms and payments, so there’s less chasing.

  • You no longer need to confirm your bookings

  • No more confirming statements either – we’ll pay you automatically every Friday

  • Download consultation forms directly from the Urban Shop, linked in the main menu

Upsell during a treatment with extensions

We’ve made it easier to extend bookings, so you can earn more:

  • Easily extend a booking before or during your client’s treatment by tapping Extend

  • Beauty Pros can now add and remove individual treatment items before or during a booking

A fairer and faster ratings system

We’ve updated how ratings work to make them more transparent and consistent.

  • Ratings from first-time clients will no longer count double – all ratings now have equal weight

  • Ratings are now shown with two decimal points, so changes (up or down) will appear more quickly than before

  • All of your existing reviews and overall rating will move across to the new app automatically

Smarter availability and booking management

  • You can now easily add days off for holidays, sick days or personal time – this will automatically override your availability

  • View and manage all your upcoming bookings from a single screen

New ways to manage support requests

Raise and track issues directly in the app using support requests.

  • Dispute ratings, report users and request cancellations in just a few taps

  • Link your requests to a specific booking, so there’s no confusion

  • Stay updated with ongoing rating disputes and 1-1 block requests

  • Access support chat from more places in the app

About me tags

Update your profile and new About me tags

You can now add personality to your profile with About me tags and update your profile directly in the app.

  • Update your display name, address, bio and profile picture directly from your account page

  • After making a change, we’ll review it before it goes live – we’ll notify you once it’s been approved

  • New About me tags let you highlight aspects of your identity to help clients get to know you – not added yours yet? Fill out the form below.

Hero Academy is now Level Up

Our learning hub has a new name: Level Up. You’ll find the same quality content to help you grow your skills and business – find it in the side menu.

What’s staying the same

Urban Pro keeps all the features you already know, love and rely on, including:

  • All safety features, such as 1-1 block, location sharing and access to call emergency services

  • Helpful booking info like parking details and directions

  • Service area templates

  • Bug reporting from the app

A few changes as we move your account over

Old in-app messages won’t carry over

If you have an ongoing chat with a client (for example, about an upcoming booking), you’ll need to resend those messages once you’ve updated your app.

Some information may not appear right away

You might not see all of your past bookings, statements, documents, or other history right away, but everything will be restored after a couple of days. Your referral info may take longer to show.

Your ratings will carry over automatically

We know how much work has gone into earning your overall treatment rating, so it won’t be lost.

There’s no extra setup required. All your client ratings, booking history and preferences are saved – just update the app and carry on as usual.
