Offering CBD massage treatments
What are CBD treatments?
A targeted, deep tissue-style massage treatment using CBD massage oil and/or balm. You'll perform a full-body massage, working CBD massage oil into the skin with powerful massage techniques that boost blood flow to the client's muscles.
Is there a criteria to offer the treatment?
You'll need to reach the following criteria to offer CBD treatments:
- 4.81 rating or higher
- Qualified in Deep Tissue
- Must complete Urban’s CBD course in the Hero Academy
- Insurance covering CBD massage
What products can I use?
You'll need a CBD oil that is approved in this FSA List here. We recommend an oil and a muscle balm to help you tailor your treatment to suit your client (some brands also offer warming oil). When adding the treatments you must send an image of the CBD products before being accepted to offer the treatment.
How can I start offering the treatment?
If you previously offered our Gaia Guru CBD treatment. Please follow these steps:
- Make sure your insurance clearly covers you for CBD treatments.
- Complete the CBD Massage course in the Hero Academy on the Hero app.
- Complete this form to re-add the treatment.
- Make sure your insurance clearly covers you for CBD treatments.
- Complete the CBD Massage course in the Hero Academy on the Hero app.
- Complete the add treatment form here (this will ask you for a picture of your CBD products).
- Add your Deep Tissue qualification to the form if it's not already on your profile.
- If accepted the treatment will be added to your profile, if not the team will be in touch by email.
