What is the minimum qualification requirement for each treatment?

Massage

You will need to be a fully qualified massage therapist with a minimum of a UK Level 3 qualification to partner with us.  If your qualification is from outside of the UK, it must be translated by ENIC  to show its UK equivalent level.

  • For more specific treatments (e.g. deep tissue/pregnancy) we require an additional CPD certificate.

We do not accept online qualifications.

Injury/pain management

To offer Injury/Pain Management, you must have a Level 5 Soft tissue therapy diploma (or equivalent), BSc in Physiotherapy or MOst in Osteopathy.

 

Osteopathy

You will need to have a degree in Osteopathy and proof of registration with the General Osteopathic Council to offer osteopathy on the Urban platform.

 

Physiotherapy

You will need to have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or equivalent and be HCPC registered  to offer physiotherapy on the platform

 

Beauty services - nails, facials, waxing

You’ll need to be a fully qualified beauty therapist with a minimum of an NVQ level 2 qualification in beauty therapy to partner with us.

If you’re signing up to provide non-branded facial treatments on Urban it’s your choice which brands you work with, but they must meet the requirements outlined here.

Beauty services - eyelash extensions 

Our preferred brands for eyelash treatment training are Nouveau Lashes. You can read more about how to train with Nouveau Lashes here

We also accept accredited courses from other brands, though you’ll need to send us a portfolio of your work at the onboarding stage and let us know which brands you’re working with. Find more information here
