Treatment aftercare advice
Every body responds differently after treatment. It’s normal to feel a little sore after, but this usually settles within three days. Your pro might also give you personalised advice, so always stick to this first.
Deep tissue, sports & injury management
- A little post-treatment ache is normal – it should ease within three days
- Skip the gym and let your body rest
- Keep up with any stretches your pro showed you
- If needed, use heat or ice to soothe sore spots (only if your pro suggested it)
Relaxing, energising & Urban classic
- Drink water regularly – don’t wait to feel thirsty
- Avoid alcohol, tea and coffee for a few hours after
- Give yourself at least two hours to rest
- Take some quiet time – breathing exercises or mindfulness can help your nervous system reset
Pre & postnatal massage
- Rest as much as you can
- Stay hydrated with water
- Gentle movement helps keep your body comfortable and tension at bay
Reflexology
- Avoid strenuous activity for the rest of the day
- Drink extra water to support your body’s natural detoxing process
- Give yourself some time to slow down and relax
Lymphatic drainage
- Drink more water than usual over the next 72 hours
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, and cut back on caffeine and fizzy drinks
- After a day, light exercise can help boost your immune system

- Keep warm and relaxed after your session
- Drink plenty of water
- Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, tea and fizzy drinks
Thai massage
- Rest for the next couple of hours
- Stay hydrated with water
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Gentle stretching can help maintain the benefits
Osteopathy and physiotherapy
- Follow any personalised plan your pro gave you first
- Rest and avoid exercise for up to 48 hours
- Do any stretches or strength exercises your pro gave you
- Some soreness or mild discomfort is normal as your body adjusts
