Urban is the UK's leading mobile wellness app, with a mission to make city life better, with a human touch.
Founded in 2014, by Jack Tang & Giles Williams, the idea was simple; an online service for booking convenient at-home wellness treatment which offered better pay for therapists.
Today, we now connect over 4,000 mobile wellness and beauty professionals with clients in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Paris.

The way you get bookings on Urban is slightly different to Blow.
When you add hours on the Urban app, you’re committing to being free to take bookings then. If you get booked, you won't have the choice to accept or decline the booking. But don't worry, if you can no longer make it, you can cancel it for free unless it's short notice (learn more about our cancellation policy here).
On average, Urban pros take home 70% of the treatment price, with higher earners receiving upwards of £6k per month after adding 40 hours a week in availability.

Our onboarding process is entirely online. We're putting extra resource in to fast-track the process for you as we know you'll be keen to start earning straight away.
You'll be asked to fill out a quick form to let us know you would like to onboard with Urban, and to upload your certificate/s. We will also ask for your proof of bookings and rating on blowLtd. You will then be required to provide your identification and have a DBS check before we create your Urban profile.
Yes, clients choose their treatment and their pro, with individual bios, ratings and reviews to help guide them.
They can book using the Urban app or website and will see your profile if you’ve added hours for the time they’d like to book.
No, we won't have any of your personal data. You'll need to re-share your contact details, qualifications and paperwork with us when you onboard.
Yes! We'll share graphics with you that you can post on your social media accounts to let your followers know you've moved. Plus, you'll get a code to give your clients 10% off their first Urban treatment.
For every new client you bring to Urban (i.e. they haven't booked with Urban before) we'll add £10 added to your statement.
You can chat to clients via the app (without sharing your private details). Once you’ve received a booking, you can contact the client directly via instant messaging, or call via the Hero app within two hours of the appointment. Your phone number will be hidden.
As we don't ask Urban bookers to share their gender, Urban pros need to be happy to offer treatments to people of all genders.
Your safety is our top priority. We have a strict 'know the line' policy which takes breaches of our code of conduct incredibly seriously.

To make your move over to Urban as seamless as possible, all brands that were accepted on blowLTD are also accepted with us.
To be eligible for Urban’s own branded treatments (for example, our Dermalogica facials) you will need to complete the necessary training. Our onboarding team can offer more guidance on this.
