How to give your face a workout

You wouldn’t think twice about exercising your body, so why should your face be treated any different? There are more than 40 muscles in your face and neck, and for great health and wellbeing they should all be exercised regularly. It might sound strange but no equipment is needed, just your hands.

There are many pressure points in the face, all of which link to different parts of your body. By massaging your face and increasing muscle movement you can help to cure ailments and aches that you may have had for some time, as well as helping to relieve tension and tightness. By working out your face regularly you’ll may also increase circulation, firm up facial tissue and help drain your lymph nodes.

Read on to discover some basic facial exercises and massages you can do at home. As always when massaging yourself take care not to press to hard and if anything starts to feel uncomfortable stop immediately.
